💉 Critical 3-Step Rapid Push Protocol

Due to its sub-10-second half-life, Adenosine must be pushed with absolute speed to prevent blood degradation before it reaches the heart:

Proximal Line: Inject only into a large, upper-arm vein (like the antecubital fossa) close to the heart.
Rapid Bolus: Deliver the dose (typically 6mg / 2ml) as an ultra-fast push over 1 to 2 seconds.
Immediate Flush: Instantly follow with a rapid 20ml Normal Saline flush to sweep the drug into central circulation. Keep continuous ECG tracking active.

⚠️ Emergency Warnings: Strictly contraindicated in patients with 2nd or 3rd-degree AV block (without a pacemaker) or Sick Sinus Syndrome.
